 Field Trip to the Idaho  Environmental Monitoring Station

INEEL's Oversight Program welcomes any group who visits one of the four environmental monitoring stations, and particularly invites students of all ages to explore the information available. Maps, facts, and a variety of educational brochures and pamphlets can be found on display at the covered kiosks next to each station, so that anyone can browse this material at leisure. The displays are updated regularly to provide new information.

Idaho Environmental Monitoring Stations are actual parts of the larger INEEL weather monitoring network, so the equipment and data collection methods seen at an Idaho Monitoring Station are identical to those employed at similar stations on and around the INEEL. You are witnessing the real collection of real data in the real world.
